How much roof area do I need?
About 70–90 sq ft per kWp for a residential rooftop. A 5 kWp system (covers a typical ₹5,000 monthly bill) needs ~450 sq ft of shade-free south-facing roof.
How much is the PM Surya Ghar subsidy?
For residential: ₹30,000 for 1 kWp, ₹60,000 for 2 kWp, and ₹78,000 for 3 kWp and above. The subsidy is credited to your bank account within 30–45 days of commissioning. We file the paperwork for you.
What is the actual payback period?
Residential: typically 4–5 years after subsidy. Commercial (with accelerated depreciation): 3–4 years. The system then generates free power for the remaining 20+ years of its 25-year warranty.
Who maintains the system after installation?
First year includes two cleanings and 24-hour service response — included in the price. From year two we offer an optional AMC covering quarterly cleaning, inverter health checks, and generation reports.
Do you handle the DISCOM / net-metering paperwork?
Yes. Our team files the application, follows up with DGVCL / UGVCL / PGVCL, coordinates the meter change and gets you the PPA copy. You never visit the DISCOM office.
What panels and inverters do you use?
Tier-1 TOPCon mono-crystalline panels (Adani, Waaree) with 25-year performance warranty. Branded inverters (Luminous, Growatt or Sungrow) with 10-year product + extended options. Full BOM is on your quote — no surprises.
What if a panel is damaged by hail or storm?
Panels carry a 25-year performance warranty from the manufacturer. We also include full plant insurance for the first year, and the second-year insurance renewal is available at a nominal cost.
